Girls Basketball Clinic

A free youth basketball clinic for girls ages 6-13 on Saturday, March 16 from 2 - 3:30 p.m. The clinic will include basketball fundamentals and drills coached by the NCAA DIII Women's Collegiate All-Star team and the Capital University's basketball team.

CLINIC OVERVIEW

This clinic is open to girls from ages 6-13. It will include basketball fundamentals and drills coached by the 2024 NCAA DIII Women's Collegiate All-Star team and the Capital University Women's Basketball team.

All skill levels welcome!

This clinic is being hosted as part of the NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Championship in Columbus on March 14-16. It's put on by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, Greater Columbus Sports Commission, Greater Columbus Sports Foundation and Capital University.

The clinic is sold out and registration is closed.

  • Is the WBCA All-Star Girls Basketball Clinic registration open?
    No -- registration is sold out for the clinic and there will be no onsite registration.

  • How do I know if my child is attending?
    All parents/guardians that registered in Events.com would have received an email confirmation from Events.com and a Know-Before-You-Go email from camp@columbussports.org. Have questions? Email camp@columbussports.org

  • Where is the clinic?
    The clinic will be at The Capital Center - 2360 E Mound St, Bexley, OH 43209
    1:30 PM - Check-in begins
    2:00 PM - Clinic starts
    3:00 PM - Clinic ends

  • Is there parking at Capital Unviversity?
    Yes, parking is available directly in front of the building, and in the lot across the street as well as additional paid and free parking options on Capital University's campus. Use the campus map to find lots and read all parking signage before parking your car.

  • What should my child bring?
    Wear comfortable athletic clothing, closed-toe tennis shoes and a water bottle. We will provide equipment and a t-shirt. The t-shirt sizes are first-come, first-serve at check-in.

  • Can my child attend the WBCA All-Star Game?
    Yes! Clinic attendees and their families are invited to watch the WBCA All-Star Game at 4:00 PM following the clinic for free. You will be asked to clear the arena after the WBCA All-Star Game if you do not have tickets for the NCAA DIII Championship game.

  • Can my child attend the NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Championship game?
    Yes! All clinic attendees were shared an exclusive promotion code to purchase tickets for the NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Championship game at 7:00 PM. All spectators must have a ticket to enter the arena for the championship game.
