Community Youth Camp June 10-13, 2024 • KIPP Columbus

Coaches

Community Youth Camp presented by The Columbus Foundation is led by leaders and instructors from local organizations, colleges and high schools.

How it Works

Leaders will guide the campers through each day. Male and female instructors for each sport will offer focused instruction and education.

Camp Coaches & Instructors

With a male and female instructor for every sport, kids can be what they see. Instructors are recruited citywide from local organizations, colleges and high schools. Many instructors are former collegiate athletes active in the Columbus community.

A coach’s expertise makes our campers experience better. We ask you to utilize your men’s and women’s coaching staff, athletes or program leaders and support staff to maximize the instruction portion of camp. Many of our campers will be playing your sport for the very first time. Coaches are asked to teach the fundamentals of their sports; and each coach would only have a 2.5-hour commitment on ONE day – either 9:30 to 12 p.m. OR 1 to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided and background checks are required (at no expense to you).
