Camp leaders play a key role on our team. We cannot run a successful camp without them. Interested in what it takes to help at Community Youth Camp? Here are the basics.

Camp Leaders

Campers will be divided into age groups as they learn from coaches, athletes and teachers in our community. Camp leaders and camp leader captains are there to support, guide and help campers get the most out of their experience.

Camp Leader Responsibilities

  • Guide campers through a four-day program

  • Help coaches and athletes teach the basics of 16 sports

  • Demonstrate the value of life skills like teamwork, confidence and overcoming adversity

  • Network with sport instructors and volunteers in the community

  • Develop leadership skills through first-hand experience

Who can be a Camp Leader?

14-22 Year Olds (High School & College Students)

Who can be a Camp Leader Captain?

18-22 Year Olds. Camp leader captains are eligible for a $350/week stipend.

Camp Leader Applications Are Now Open. Camp leaders and camp leader captains will receive a daily lunch and camp t-shirt. All camp leaders and camp leader captains are required to complete an application.
