Volleyball Clinic

A free youth volleyball clinic for kids ages 12 to 16 on Thursday, May 23 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The clinic includes volleyball fundamentals and drills run by USA Volleyball coaches. All skill levels are welcome.

This clinic is open to all genders from ages 12-16. It will include volleyball fundamentals and drills coached by USA VolleybalI.

All skill levels are welcome!

The clinic is being hosted as part of the USA Volleyball Adult Open National Championship in Columbus on May 24-29. It's put on by USA Volleyball, the Ohio Valley Region of USA Volleyball and the Greater Columbus Sports Foundation.

  • Is the Volleyball Clinic registration open?
    Yes -- register now. We expect spots to go fast.

  • How do I know if my child is registered?
    All parents/guardians who registered will receive an email confirmation from USA Volleyball. We will also send a Know Before You Go email from camp@columbussports.org closer to the event. Have questions? Email camp@columbussports.org

  • Where is the clinic?
    The clinic is in Exhibit Hall C at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The address is 400 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
    5:30 PM - Check-in begins
    6:00 PM - Clinic starts
    8:00 PM - Clinic ends

Once inside, look for A-frame / sandwich board signs that will help direct you to the clinic.

  • Where should I park?
    If you park in a Convention Center Lot or Garage (see here for locations) and bring your ticket to check-in, we will provide a voucher to cover the cost.  Otherwise, there is ample street, garage and surface lot parking near the Convention Center. We can only cover the cost of parking if you park in a Convention Center Lot or Garage and only provide one voucher per vehicle.

  • What should my child bring?
    Wear comfortable athletic clothing, closed-toe tennis shoes and a water bottle. Bring knee pads if you have them, but they are not required! We will provide any equipment needed to participate.
  • Can parents stay?

    Parents and/or adult guardians are encouraged to stay the duration of the Youth Clinic. If parents drop off athletes, parents are required to enter the building and come to the check-in table for pick-up.

  • Will there be food?

    There will not be food provided at the clinic at this time. We encourage attendees to have a meal or snack before arriving.
