PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT RULES
All competing teams must know the basics of pickleball and can keep score.
The pickleball tournament will be played under the USA Pickleball Official Rules. Players are responsible for self-reporting line calls based on the principle of giving their opponents the benefit of the doubt when in doubt.
Teams may include on (1) substitute player if an original player drops before tournament play or in case of an injury/illness during tournament player. Only one substitution can be made during the duration of the tournament. Substitutes must be registered, have signed all event waivers and match the skill level or division (e.g., skill ratings) of the player they are replacing.
Teams will advance by playing games to 11 and win by 2 points or the team with the highest score at the end of 12-minute play. Line calls will be self-reported. Tournament pay and seeding will depend on registration numbers. Every team will be guaranteed to play at least two games.
Teams are expected to wear their team shirts.
PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT TEAM SCORING
